The SLX low-profile reel incorporates a compact design comparable to a 70-sized reel, but the reel’s 150-sized spool.

A 45mm handle offers added power and works in conjunction with the three available gear ratios. Working baits slow and methodical with the 6.3:1 option, or with pure speed to cover water quickly utilizing the 8.2:1 gear ratio model. The SLX 6.3:1 models provide anglers with 12 pounds of stopping power, while the HG and XG models offer 11 pounds of drag – enough to put the brakes on even the most determined trophy fish.
